Allow the skin to dry out, therefore It Is strongly suggested to *avoid moisturizing the skin today*. If necessary, apply a thin layer of the J. Murphy Antioxidant Full Spectrum Protection SPF 30 or Aquaphor to the Irritated area. If you'll be outdoors, any SPF 30 or higher will do. Apply hydrocortisone as needed to minimize redness, Itching, and Irritation. Again, for best results, DO NOT moisturize on day 2 unless absolutely necessary.
Discontinue any irritant-type topical products or treatments. Products such as Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula), scrubs, or anything perceived as 'active' skincare. Treatments such as microdermabrasion and laser.
No prolonged sun exposure to the area being treated. Treatment WILL NOT be administered on sunburned skin.
